Focusing on a time-range in a time-series chart

Selecting the time-range is a key configuration for analyzing time-series data. For example, if the original data contains 40 years of data, you can focus on a specific decade, or even two consecutive years, with a slope chart.

To select the time-range for analysis,

  • Use the time-range sliders below the chart to drag and drop the time range end points,
    or
  • Click on the >> and << icons at the top of the time-series chart to select a specific time key.

To reset time range to the full data range,

  • Click the X icon to the right of the time range control section, below the chart.
