Focusing on a time-range in a time-series chart

Selecting the time-range is one of the key configurations for analyzing time-series data. For example, if original data shows 40 years of data, you can choose to focus on only a specific decade, or even analyze two consecutive years with a slope chart.

To select the time-range for analysis,

  • Use the time-range sliders below the chart to drag and drop rime range end points,
    or
  • Click on the >> and << icons on top of the time-series chart and select a specific time key.

To reset time range to full data range,

  • Click the X icon on the time range control section below the chart.

Special Feature

  • Keshif can animate data over time by advancing the final-end point of the range with rich animated transition. Learn how.
