Animating lists over time is an engaging storytelling tool which smoothly animates bar chart sizes and rankings to gradually reveal the trends on each record.

To animate changes to the sorted list over time using the selected time-series sorting attribute,

  • Click on the play icon.
    • Shift+click to animate with five steps.

  • The animation automatically stops after reaching final data point.
  • You can also stop animation by clicking the pause icon, which appears while using the time race animation.
